Photo/Art Work Contests URL: unitysantafe.org
Developed a Web 2.0 app for running photographic or artwork contests online. Contestants can upload a variety of images for blind voting by a panel of judges choosing either single contributions or a portfolio of work. Images are reviewed by a moderator before being accepted. This technology is in use at Unity Santa Fe and for forthcoming competitions at the New Mexico Council on Photography - (WordPress, PHP, HTML, CSS)

Developed a custom WordPress theme for a Denver based full service staffing company serving national and international markets. The theme incorporates a novel side tab navigation with color coordinated flyout menus. The home page also sports a custom two column news/blog. Customized, configured and developed back-end functions and capabilities for a New York based company's eCommerce site selling clothing, prints and artwork as an 'inspiration in design'. Custom coding in Magento provided needed business capabilities and front-end presentations of the company's catalog of products organized around designer/artists and categories. Developed and delivered the club's website to attract new players and visitors, and to promote the club's expanding activities. Designed, developed and delivered a Web 2.0 on-line subscription service site for any and all Go clubs, offering membership management, tournament management and pairings, event management, library management and game results management. Book-keeping features allow financial assessment of clubs, their tournaments and events with dynamic charts, trends and pdf documents generated on the fly. Club Administration features allow individual clubs to manage their own events and members through their Club Account. Site Administration features provide controls over Club Accounts and Paypal integration. (PHP, MySQL, AJAX, HTML, CSS, Javascript)

Santa Fe Complex Designed and developed a proof of concept with horizontal sliding panels, dynamically closing and revealing summary/teaser content. Open topic panel forms top level navigation (HTML, CSS, Javascript, jQuery)

Houston Go Club URL: houstongoclub.org
Designed, developed and delivered a Web 2.0 on-line system for club services and tournament management for the Houston Go Club, Houston, TX. The site promoted the ancient oriental art of Go (Wei-ch'i) and attracted new and existing players. This project formed the seed for the GoClubsOnline subscription site. Unity Church Designed, developed and delivered a comprehensive site for the Unity Church of Practical Christianity, Webster, TX. Earlier Intranet Projects
Behavioral Based Safety (BBS)
The BBS intranet project tracked and reported BBS program results from BBS activities data captured from all employees and contractors. The project reported statistics on participation and activities completed at the individual, department and enterprise levels. Access was provided and controlled to three different models: users, departmental administrators and site administrators.
Safety Proactivity Index System (SPI)
The SPI intranet project tracked and reported SPI program results, capturing SPI activities from all employees and contractors. The SPI system reports included statistics on participation and activities completed. Three different access modes allowed users, departmental administrators and site administrators to see reports under their level of authority. (Note: the SPI system was a predecessor of BBS system but captured different statistics.)
Management of Change (MoC)
The MoC project lead site professionals through MoC business processes ensuring company policies and procedures were adhered to when instigating a change to either the manufacturing process or business processes (procedures).
Site Phone Book/Organization Charts
The Phone Book intranet project allowed individuals and department administrators maintain an online site's phone book and reporting lines. The project provided browsable organization charts, meeting ISO 14001 requirements, incorporated three access models: users, department administrators and site administrators.
Engineering Applications
An intranet project migrated various engineering spreadsheet tools to the web environment using forms and reports.
Site Newsletter Content Management System
This Content Management System project provided Human Resources with web-based tools to continuously maintain the site's newsletter. Content included articles on recent news stories, announcements, site developments and images. Articles were automatically published and archived.
SAP Training and Role Management
An intranet project managed the training and new role assignments during a major version upgrade of corporate wide SAP. This saved time for the users and organizers of the upgrade and ensured that the right people with the right SAP roles received or took the right training modules.
Web Portal
Many of the above projects were brought together under a Web Portal model to provide access to all users. The Portal provided easy navigation to other relevant intranet and extranet resources.
